1978-1983 Dodge Challenger

Why is it that Automakers kept reviving muscle car names on wimpy 4 banger fail-balls? The 2nd gen Dodge Challenger is one to get this honor. With a highest engine option of a 2.6L 4 cylinder, this is another vehicle that cannot live up to it’s name sake. Thankfully Dodge resurrected the Challenger to some kind of Muscle Car status with the newest models, sadly someone there is still smoking something to put the Charger name on a Sedan.

Hey bro. The 78-83 Challenger is badass. Although it is a Mitsubishi. The “biggest” engine isn’t always the best, either. The 4G63 was a much stronger powerplant than the 2.6 Hemi that outranked it in displacement. I’m actually trying to find a second-generation Challenger, I’d love to have one.
